I stopped listing on ebay this last few weeks, what with Vendio not loading my images, and ebay so dead etc. To counteract Vendio's monthly fees, when I wasn't using it, I changed my plan to "pay as you go" to be under the 4mb limit for images.
Having now got vendio to upload up to 4 images without timing out,(!) the first auction I've tried in many weeks won't launch!!
Is this anything to do with my change of Vendio-Plan? It's not sitting in "pending" either! (good job I saved the textdescription) but what's the point if I can't get it to launch despite several attempts after refreshing the page ( which by the way, now takes me to a "you can list from a create-listing" message.
I've had huge difficulties with even the simplest Vendio operations this summer. I can't bear the thought of having to go elsewhere after 6 years; I'm still rather a computer wuss; but the canned instructions to 'upload Microsoft's latest updates' are not the answer! I've got Windows'98, IE 6.0 sbcglobal DSL, and no such difficulties on other sites.

Hi Uglimouse,
There are two errored listings in pending -- are either of these the one that won't launch? If so, which one did you just try to launch? If not, do you remember what the error message said?
We will need more information in order to help you with this problem. Your eBay information appears to be stored properly so that isn't the issue.

Thanks for the response.
The 2 error ones in pending are from way back. Not the ones I'm trying to launch.
The one I lost yesterday is lost forever it seems! When I realized the page was probably going to time out, I copied the description text, for future use, just in case!
Basically, the page times-out after clicking on "launch", and then at the bottom of it appears the usual "ithis page cannot be displayed", and the stuff about look in settings, check server etc. which isn't really applicable as I'm always connected with SBC DSL. I've tried clicking on "save" too, but that doesn't operate either! As soon as I exit the page, it's lost!
I've been having trouble using Vendio recently. It just doesn't seem to want to operate half the time.
Uploading more than 2 images at a time is a problem, they get stuck in pending; but yesterday I clicked on "upload more" when that happened, and got an error message that I was using an incorrect format! (i.e. not gif or jpg, but they were)And then lo and behold, the ones that had been stuck, showed up as successful. Tried it a few times that way, and it worked. Rather convoluted, but at least it gets the images uploaded! Wish I could say the same for launching my auctions!
I'll try launching it again today, and see what oddity occurs this time., and let you know.
Thanks, uglimouse.

Re-wrote it, and listed it without mishap just now. Of course, it is 2.30 PST, so may not get too many bids- I wanted it to go 5 days, finishing Sunday afternoon!
Any kind of site-slowness, and my stuff seems to go belly up!
Anyway, thanks for the response.
Uglimouse -- glad to see it launched. It looks like the issue was connection related or maybe even browser related. What do you use?
Skylite -- I checked your account and don't see anything in error, and you have your one pending listing scheduled for launch. If you have more launch problems please save the items in pending and notify us they are there so we can take a look.
