Exactly the question I had. How do you do this?

Hello,

We had an announcement up about this but it looks like it expired. Here is a copy of it:

-----
eBay has now automatically enabled the shipping price column in all search and category browse pages unless removed in preferences by buyers. We believe this additional information in search results will raise the importance of shipping price to buyers' purchase decisions.

Please read the following information to help you make your listings as compelling in search as possible within your desired display requirements.

What do buyers see?

In search and browse results, one of four items is displayed:
- A "Calculate" link to enable buyers to see their calculated shipping to their location
- The FIRST flat rate shipping amount for UPS or USPS
- "See Description"
- "Not Specified"

How do I enable my chosen display?

I use calculated shipping and want to display the “Calculate” link

1. You must use UPS or USPS calculated shipping
2. In eBay Site Specifics and in individual listings, select the preference "I am specifying shipping costs for eBay checkout."
3. Within the same preference, select “I use calculated rates”
4. We highly recommend those selecting to specify shipping costs in this fashion also turn on the "Use eBay Checkout Redirect" option. This option takes buyers from eBay's item page (PayNow button) through your Vendio Checkout.

I use flat rate shipping and want to display the cost in search results

1. In eBay Site Specifics and in individual listings, select the preference "I am specifying shipping costs for eBay checkout."
2. Within the same preference, select “I use fixed shipping rates” NOTE: The first flat rate shipping choice will be displayed here, so you may want to ensure you list your cheapest shipping option first when creating and editing items.
3. We highly recommend those selecting to specify shipping costs in this fashion also turn on the "Use eBay Checkout Redirect" option. This option takes buyers from eBay's item page (PayNow button) through your Vendio Checkout.

I do not want to display my shipping costs in search results

If you choose not to display "calculate" or the flat rate price, you can select to display either "see description" or "not specified." Obviously, we recommend the "see description" option. We have implemented a change to our systems based upon a new eBay parameter that will release along with the search change to enable the "see description" display. To take advantage of this display on future listings, ensure you have the 'Display Shipping and Handling options and Custom Shipping Note in listing' preference set in global preferences.

Unfortunately for technical reasons, existing items currently on eBay that did not have payment details specified or used FedEx or DHL will display “not specified,” since that is the default parameter for this new preference we send eBay with items. We are unable to revise these items to state "see description." Setting the appropriate preferences, however, will ensure future items display properly.

We look forward to continuing to keep you abreast and make the most of future eBay changes.

Sincerely,
The Vendio Team

If you have problems setting this up, please let us know what item you are working on in your account so we can log in and help you with it.

Regards,

Sonya
