Hey,

I'm sick to death of my buyers providing a PO box address when they select UPS as a shipping option. Since UPS cannot deliver to a PO Box, it's a big waste of my time, since I have to track the buyer down, and ask for an alternate address, or ask them to pay extra for Priority Mail shipping (which doesn't make them happy). Even if I just let it go, and shipped Priority w/o charging extra, I'd still have to check with them to make sure they didn't care about the switch.

**HERE'S MY POINT: I would LOVE it if Vendio would revise the checkout system so that if buyers selected UPS as their shipping option, VENDIO WOULD NOT ALLOW THEM TO ENTER A PO BOX ADDRESS.

ANYONE AGREE WITH ME? THEN PLEASE TELL VENDIO! I've forwarded this suggestion to Vendio, but unless others back me up, it may not make the cut for the list of revisions.

AMEN to that...
it also delays the shipping time and customers complain. Great suggestion... you've got my vote. BTW when Do all these wonderful revisions occur?

Excellent idea!!! I have that problem all the time and it takes SOOOO much time to track down the buyer and explain to them why they owe more money...etc.

Would really appreciate if Vendio would update their site with that feature.....also wondering when is the new PRO version with the UPS rate calculator comming out....you have been promising a UPS rate calculator is comming soon for OVER 2 YEARS NOW????

Updates take time, if they happen at all. In the meantime, feel free to use or adapt the following to your templated messages, which should cut down on the follow-up time:

RESPONSE TO UPS CUSTOMER WHO SENDS A PO ADDRESS

Hi _________ and thanks for your quick payment on my eBay auction of the _________, item number _________.

When I tried to process the address label for your order, the computer flagged your address because UPS can't delivery to P.O. boxes. If the box you cited is a rural route box (as opposed to an actual PO box inside of Post Office), I can override the computer and the package should go through with no problems.

If this is in fact a USPS PO Box, do you have a physical address I can use? If all else fails, I can re-quote the shipping and drive the package to our local PO.
