I have some items (postcards) where I want the larger photo and some where I sell "lots" and need the thumbnail.
If I change my preference to accommodate whichever one I am working on will the pix stay the same through relisting of that item.
In other words, if I make my preference to not shrink large photos when posting postcards, but later change the preference TO shrink them when posting my lots with several photos, will the postcards already be locked in with the large image for relisting and reposting?
The preference to use full sized images or images with the 'click to enlarge' option is applied at the time the images are attached.
Once attached they will retain their original settings.
So you can switch this preference on and off, prior to creating your items, and those listings will retain the setting that was in place at the time the images were attached. (IE, you can also edit images from previous listings by changing your preferences and simply unattaching and reattaching your photo's.)
