I am trying Vendio and I have had one item to sell. The buyer did not use Vendio to pay, fill in shipping address or anything. What did I set wrong? Thanks!
You had almost everything setup properly. You don't really want to 'force' your buyers to use one checkout or the other, as its hard enough just to get buyers to checkout and pay promptly as is.
What you will want to do however is setup the PayPal IPN service, so when buyers do checkout elsewhere you can still capture all of their shipping/payment information.
You can do this via the My Account page, under the Post Sale Acceleration link. From here click the 'click here' link near the top of the page for directions on setting this up for future listings.
