I've read the previous post regarding problems with the slow site, and the reply from customer service that it is not universal. Just wanted to say that I am having the same problem, and with this site only, although the pages do load after 10 seconds or so. There is another post regarding this issue under a different topic, vendio feedback, if I remember correctly. The problem appears to be with vendio, not our servers. Chris

Hello Chris,
I'm going to email you some steps via email and see if we can't isolate where the problem is coming from. I just want to reiterate that at this time we have seen no evidence of an issue on our side in regards to site slowness. However with your reply I will forward the information on to our IT folks for further investigation.

Hi, I am still having very slow or blank screens as well, as are others. Still waiting for the email to help fix..?? All other sites work fine. I am not a computer novice either.

Hello Taryn and Chris,
Taryn, I've yet to see an email from you back with the results from that trace route. Did you receive it?
1. Go to http://www.dslreports.com/stest
2. Click the "Test speed using our server at Megapath, CA, USA" link.
3. Scroll down, and click the "Start" button in the Megapath box (if you do not see a start button, you may need to install Java - you will see links on the page to do so.)
4. Wait for test results.
This test will analyze the speed of your connection both downloading and uploading data. You can compare your results (which will be in red) to the graph in order to get an idea of how well your system is performing. Please let us know the results (you can save this page as an html file, and email it to us.)
Please try the below tracert tool that can be used to monitor your connection with any internet site. Here is the URL to download this tool (WinMtr):
Be sure to save the WinMtr.exe file to you desktop. Once this is downloaded, open the application and type www.vendio.com in the host field. Let the trace run for about 1 minute, then stop and email a copy/paste of the results to us. This will help us determine if and where any packet loss is occuring.
Along with the test results, please let us know the following:
1. Have you added any new hardware/software to your computer recently, or changed the system configuration? If so, please describe what was done.
2. Does this problem occur all the time, or just during the evenings/mornings?
3. Do you have a firewall? If so, is it hardware or software based?
4. Who is your ISP, and what browser/version and OS/version are you using?

Me too. I am unable to send shipment notices as the site cannot be found. Takes 2 or three tries a real PITA.

I never received the email. Tried the test. I have 1137 kbps download speed and 246 kbps upload. So plenty fast. Today now the site is much, much better. For the last week was super duper slow with occasional blank screens. No changes in either of my computers and site was the same on both. No other sites were slow.

I've been saying for a year that the site tends to slow down betweent 11-2 CST. Right now is a good example. pages timing out. While ALL other sites zoom thru.
