I used to have very general 4-5 eBay store categories and Vendio Gallery was showing items within this broad category. It worked well as I had a mix of items within each category.
Right now I have more categories and sub-categories and Vendio is only showing items from very narrow sub-categories.
How do I set up Vendio Gallery to show items from different eBay store categories? I would like to show mixed items from all categories.

Hello Jack,
When the gallery is automatically inserted, and either the 'Marquee' or 'Basic' skin is selected, the gallery will detect the category of the item being viewed, and will display other items that you have for sale in the same (or closest-to-similar) category.
Currently, if you prefer to have the gallery open up on "All Categories" (this might be more optimal for sellers with a wide variety of items scattered across different top-level categories) the only way to ensure this happens is to manually insert the gallery code into your listings. To do this, set the Gallery preferences to "Do not automatically insert" and copy/paste the Gallery code that is displayed when you click the "Generate HTML code" link into your item description field. Please be sure to copy all HTML, and be very careful when you insert the code that you don't alter any pre-existing HTML in your listing's description area.

Ed,
Thanks for replaying but it is not an answer I was hoping to get.
The whole idea of Gallery is to advertise OTHER items. I sell automotive stuff and once you purchase a bumper you do not need another bumper.
Also, inserting code by hand to each auction is not very practical.
Could you send a request to your development team to look into it? Maybe my situation is unique (I doubt) but I will have to get rid of the Gallery or completely rethink my eBay store categories.

hello Jack,
I understand that it's not ideal for how your items are listed, and you are not the first customer to voice issue with it's limited functionality. I'll be happy to forward on your suggestion to our engineers for review.
