Ok, I know this is me not adapting or being super careful, but there has been one problem that I keep having. When a buyer checks out and chooses anything other than paypal ...i.e. sending check ... vendio marks my ebay item as 'payment received' at eBay. I actually do my shipping from 'My eBay' which is an old habit, but easy for me. Several times I have sent an item when several were sold to someone who had not yet paid. It is usually a low priced item and they have always paid anyway, but I have had some unpaid buyers contact me asking why their item had not been received yet when it was marked 'payment received'???? Have they figured this foopah out and trying to deceive me or just forgetting that they actually haven't paid yet? In this day of constantly being attacked by jerks try to rip us off, I would like this little window closed. When someone checks out at Vendio and Paypal is not used, Vendio SHOULD NOT mark the item 'payment received' at eBay. Is this something I can fix or is it a Vendio fix?
Otherwise, I am thrilled with V ... and impressed with all of the little things they keep adding to help sellers... so thanks! Paperplus on eBay

Hi Paperplus,

I understand that you have a problem when your buyers checkout your items starting from eBay pages. I assume you have enabled checkout-redirect. Can you please give us an example listing that was inadvertently marked as paid? Thanks in advance,

I contacted Vendio about this issue about a year or more ago. I do have "Checkout Redirect" enabled, however, EVERY time a buyer indicates that they will pay via check or money order in Vendio's checkout, the item is marked as "Payment Received" on eBay. I find myself going back and marking each of these items as "unpaid," since I have had similar issues with angry buyers wondering where their items are, since they're marked as "paid" on their "My eBay" page, even though they have not sent their payment. I would love it if Vendio could finally resolve this issue.

Hello James and Amanda,

James, what you are noticing is correct. Amanda, I'll explain to you again what you were notified before: This is a limitation of the ebay API software that we use. We have contacted ebay in regards to this and expect that it will be resolved shortly. If this was a glitch in our software I assure you that it would have been resolved some time ago.
