Ebay pulled 8 of my 10 auctions that I listed last night, due to the fact I included "well concealed cash" as part of my payment option (part of my automatic auction info). My fault for not reading enough to keep up with the new rules, as I haven't put up an auction since last spring!! My question is, how can I retrieve the write-up from the closed auctions? I don't work off-line, so I have no copies of the descriptions. Is all lost??? I tried to send the autions to the archives, hoping the original page would be restored, but I keep getting an error message, and that there is nothing to retrieve. Vendio must have the old data somewhere, don't they?? Thanks in advance...(PS I've changed my automatic info!!)

Hello Carla,

Did you list the items through our service? If so, then the data should be right there inside your Sale Manager pages in either your active or closed listings. If you listed directly on ebay, then we wouldn't be able to help you.

Thanks for the quick reply, Ed. I've always used Vendio (even Auctionwatch!) to list on eBay. The eight auctions were in the closed section of the control page, so I clicked on Select all, and relist. The next page shows the auctions ready to go, just pick a time, but when you click on the title to revise, you get the cancelled auction notice from eBay. Then I noticed the edit button in the far right-hand corner (told you I didn't read enough!!). Well that appears to be the trick I needed. Thanks again!!!!!!!

Hello,

You may run into issues trying to relist those items if eBay ended them early.

When you get them into the pending section, click to edit them and in the upper right corner of the listing page use the 'copy' link to make a duplicate.

The duplicate listing will go through no problem, but if eBay sees a relist off of the original items they may block the items (even with their requested changes).

Regards,
Christopher
