From Post Sale, Unsold items: While re-listing, I am changing shipping and Best Offer (removing it from some items). After launching, the shipping changed and is correct but all the items from which I removed Best Offer, show Best Offer.
Why is it still showing up when I am removing it during editing in Post Sale?
Beth

Hello Beth,
Not sure, but it sounds like a caching issue: Give us some examples, and we'll be happy to take a look.

130049065037
Relisted from Post Sale, unsold. Changes made:
Unclick Best Offer
Unclick International Sales
Adjust shipping charges.
Launch....everything changed EXCEPT the Best Offer. It is still there. Will have to go in and bulk edit from eBay.
And cleared Cache before editing and after editing (but before launching). Also, Best Offer is not checked on the Ebay global page on Vendio.
let me know when you are done with this item so I can remove the Best offer feature.

Know you are busy with the molasses problem, but thought I would bump this. Still happening. I don't think it is a cache issue.

Hello Beth,
I took a look at your listing "130049065037" and from what I am seeing it appears that this listing was sent to eBay not to include Best Offer, and that the listing was setup not to include Best Offer. However, I do see where you had to revise the Best Offer setting for this listing.
I was unable to locate the original listing number from which this listing was relisted. Do you have that number by any chance? (Or a more recent example with both the original listing number and the relisted item number?) Was the original listing listed through Vendio? From what I can see right now it appears that it may not have been.
Also, is this happening with every listing where you make this change, or only to some of them?
Regards,
Nathan

Hello Nathan:
RE: 130049065037
This item was launched from SM Pro on 9/11/06 as a Store Item. It was a 30 day listing with Best Offer.
All items are relisted via Vendio and this one was on 11/17 and sold 11/19. I removed the Best Offer because I wanted to lower the price and make it a buy it or leave it.
Anyway, none of the items that I launch with smPro with a best offer will allow me to move the best offer when edited for relist in SMME Post Sale, Unsold Items, relist.
So, I go in and do by hand.
Thank you,
Beth

Hello Beth,
It does sound like this is an issue that needs to be escalated to our engineers. However, I do need an example that includes both the original listing number that included Best Offer, as well as the new listing number that should have been relisted without Best Offer (but included Best Offer anyway).
Do you have the original listing number (from which listing "130049065037" was relisted)? I have been unable to locate that original listing. Any example where this happened that includes both the original listing number and the relisted listing number should be sufficient.
Please let me know so that I can have our engineers take a look.
Regards,
Nathan

A New Wrinkle of Interest.
OK, so I go in to eBay and revise, by hand, one by one, the listings. Here is an example:
130044262578
Then I relist the revised listing from Post Sale and guess what? The Best Offer is back. So I have to go and revise the same listing a second time at eBay. Here is the number:
130058041485
Until this is fixed, I think the best thing to do for me is revise them and relaunch them from eBay.
Thank you for your attention. I appreciate it.
Beth

Hello Beth,
Unfortunately, any revisions that you make to a live auction will not be reflected on the auction in Vendio. The revisions will only work for the active listing itself.

Hi Beth,
I just wanted to let you know that our engineers have a fix for this that they are currently testing. As long as there aren't any problems with the tests it shouldn't be much longer.

Well, I just launched a test item. It is number: 130070698855
Good news, bad news.
I edited the item to remove best offer and to remove Worldwide shipping. I also adjusted my shipping prices.
When viewing the listing on eBay you can see that the Best offer is gone. However, the listing still says Worldwide and shows the international shipping costs even tho I removed them.
I will leave the test item on ebay. It's old number was:7248701744
Thank you.

Thank you Nathan.
In Post Sale, Unsold, I can make my changes, save to Inventory and then launch from inventory. If I do that then all my changes "stick". Just an FYI.
