Hi! It's me again, Jupiter - back with a warning:
Have you gotten the "proposed new navigation" site
yet?
Take a look at the tabs - AUCTIONS ARE NOT ON THE
FIRST PAGE!
Auctions are relegated to a second page under
DIRECTORY - meaning Bidders have to know enough to
go to the directory and click to see the auction link -
some members - especially new ones - don't even know
there
are auctions on Amazon - they may never find them with
this route.
Amazon is saying they want our input first before
implementing this new navigation site.
MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE
AND WE GET EVEN LESS ATTENTION AND BIDS!!!!
ZSHOPS ARE RIGHT ON THE FIRST PAGE WITH THEIR
OWN TAB - WHAT ABOUT US AUCTION SELLERS?

Many of us did not get the new proposed change to Amazon Auctions. So far, it seems that you are the only one with it based on comments and my contacts.
Please give us link to new proposal - or copy e-mail to forum so we can review it.
I have searched all over Amazon and cannot find proposed new navigation or anything different. It is in deep cover!

if you look carefully at the right hand side of the tabs, you'll see that they are grouped as "today's featured stores". although zshops is in the example, that implies that it could just as easily be auctions, or hardware, or whatever, depending on what they decide to have in that box that day. I would think they would make it contain areas that you visit often, but who knows.
IMHO, amazon auctions are fairly dead. The "amazon's got auctions" buzz died out some time ago. only eBay means auctions to most consumers.

I believe that it will fill in tabs that you have used in the past. "Personalizing" the Amazon experience for each visitor. So if you have used Auctions, there will be an auction tab next to the book and directory tab. I believe this new system will not only kill the auctions, but all other Amazon stores except for the bookstore.
