SUICIDE must be running rampant in the Auction business recently. Apparently Amazon caught the disease from Yahoo - I can't believe a site as dead as Amazon has the audacity to start forcing Sellers to use their Payment system, AND also starts charging Completion fees too, when their buyer base is almost empty. Unreal!

Stupidity is hardly a recent development at Amazon, I'm afraid. They had a very nice set up and a real opportunity to challenge eBay. All that's left now is a core of die-hard supporters whom I expect get some sort of perks, and the folks who remember using the site in the good old days.

I agree! When I started using Amazon I was impressed and very quickly begin racking up positive feedback with just one negative when there was a misunderstanding over the reserve price. Then they started changing things and bids began to get farther apart. I only list occasionally now and may even stop that. It almost looks like some of these folks want to end their auction business without exiting gracefully. While I don't expect to do business without some sort of cost, I do expect my venue to act responsibly.
