Cloudy with possible storms on the way. January ended in low sales, February is slower and the "improvements" are not that great. I think the buyers have been steered toward their Outlet and away from auctions and zShops. However, Marketplace is doing o.k.

Depends on what you are selling, I think. I am still generating sales on Marketplace and auctions. Sales are off from December, but Amazon had problems in January with items not showing up as Marketplace, lost feedback ratings (everyone was showing as "I'm New", dropping auctions. They slumped so low in January I wrote to the ProMerchant reps asking for a refund of fees for that month. I was told to expect problems when using their site, no refund. In writing, in an e-mail. I figured if they had enough requests maybe they would get their act together.
Auction items that are selling are primarily CD's and paperbacks. This is the stuff it doesn't pay to list on Marketplace.
General feeling amongst the sellers I "talk" to over the net is "Don't put all your eggs in an Amazon basket". So I am exploring, setting up, other venues.
