Playboy Number of Listings with bids at Auction sites:

http://www.geocities.com/adultmagazinesmarket/bwarrenbids.htm

Today in review:

ALL AUCTIONS: Today Playboy Listings decreased by 260 listings or 2.4%! I guess that was to be expected, after Thursday’ dramatic increase of 887 or 8.3%. The Number of Playboy Listings with Bids decreased by 175 or 11.5%. The percent of Listings with Bids declined to 12.6%.

AT AMAZON: The Number of Playboy Listings increased by 16 or 0.8%. The Number of Playboy Listings with Bids increased by 2 or 8.7%. The percent of Playboy Listings with Bids increased, slightly to 1.2%. Currently Amazon is the worst site to List Playboy. Your chances of getting a bid are a little greater than 1 in 83, even at the current rate of $0.008 per listing, is it very high ($0.008 X83= $0.66 per listing with bids)

AT EBAY: Today Playboy Listings decreased by 380 listings or 5.5%! I guess that was to be expected, after Thursday’ dramatic increase of 887 or 8.3%. The Number of Playboy Listings with Bids decreased by 178 or 13.9%.

AT PLAYBOY AUCTIONS: Today Playboy Listings increased by 59 listings or 6.2% The Number of Playboy Listings with Bids decreased to 15.3 %. This auction still continues to have the highest percent of Listings with Bids 15.3%.

AT YAHOO: The Number of Playboy Listings increased by 30 or 5.0%. The Number of Playboy Listings with Bids decreased to 9.5%.

The best site to list Playboys today is Playboy auctions with 15.3% of the listings with bids. Of those Listings with Bids 50.3% have multiple bids (two or more bids) and 38.7% having 3 or more bids.

That is this morning’s pulses of the Playboy Market see you tomorrow.

OK, once was funny. If you are going to do this every day, please don't go to any trouble on my account. Maybe the Ebay Outlook would be more interested in this fascinating study you are doing.

Hi valeriet:

You can be assured you that we are not doing this in your account. We don't even know who you are or care.

You may not find market reasearch information of any use to you, but there are other dealers and collectors that find the information useful. We and them use this information to select the best site to list our merchandise.

We only started sharing the information, after we were urged by other dealers and collectors to make that information available, since they are sure that you will not receive it from any auction houses, unless they had an excellent track record.

We are sorry, if our posting placed you on a defensive position, because you list on Amazon. Like our analysis implies, each category is different and it pays to find out the best sites to list your items.

Again we apologize, if that was the case. We do not take your postings personally and take your posting for what they are, just your opinion!

Regards,

Rudy

I'm not defensive, but I'm glad you will be using just one thread for this. I find it Oh So boring. Was it Amazon sellers who requested that you post all of this gunk? Why don't you just refer people to a web page?

It just seems like a very limited interest area -- selling playboys. I have a couple playboy items to sell and I looked at the Playboy auction site and they don't even have categories for the stuff I have. I'll probably use Ebay again.

So I learned from your first posting that Playboy has an auction site. The changes in listings or bids daily of one or two percent will not affect my life. I pity the person who's life it does affect.

That's all. Thanks for the info.
