I was wondering if any canadians have sold on marketplace but mailed from Canada. ie I can sign up for one click if I use a us address and sign up for a us bank account etc. but I ship from canada! Has anyone had any success stories about marketplace and shipping from Canada. Thanks ( I think marketplace sounds much more successful than auctions and z shops at the moment and I am trying to decide whether to sign up for one click or is it worth it ~ lots of work for me to sign up.) Suz 23 here but lovebooks2 on amazon . Or I used to be till I changed my email address! Now I don't know who I am but my husband thinks that is normal!
I just managed to list my first item on MarketPlace. They hit with a nice fee from the page that I saw at the end. They give a shipping credit for books but I think that it is about $2.20. If you are using the same postal system and I believe that you are, most hardcovers would not be worth it. It can cost for anything over 500 grams about 7.10$ Canadian or around $4.89 U.S. depending on withich exchange you use. Paperbacks might be worth a try though. However, if we manage to get a Canadian buyer or an international one (everyone outside of the U.S.) Amazon gives us a much larger credit. Around 12$ I think. I read very quickly just to see if I could actually list the item. I don't know how many overseas buyers are willing to pay that price???? Anyway, I will give it a fair shot and judge for myself after a little while.
