Hi - I paid the monthly fee and got a z shop because I was selling more than 40 books a month. Now when I list an item for sale, I have to put it in a z-shop category. Is there any way to avoid this? I don't want to use my z shop and it takes forever to find the correct category - I'd rather just skip it but if I try to it won't let me list the item.

You have to list in categories. It is to your own advantage, as you can have buyers bring up the books you list by category. While it may not seem a big deal if you have 50 books on, in time you will have 500 books, and the time savings for your buyers will be appreciated.

It sounds like you are entering the listings directly into the system one at a time. Try using a database so you can enter the info offline and then later on you can upload the files all at once. I was able to upload over 600 book listings at one time and it took only a few minutes. The one problem with this is the listing will not appear in any specific catogory, but you can add catagories later by editing your listings one at a time after they are entered.
