I've been entering in the Online Data Entry form for about a week now, always clicking the add these books button at the bottom. I have yet to be able to find any books I have entererd.

I tried to download a text file to see if anything was in there, it came back with the standard heading: author, title, etc, but no entries.

Is there something else I am supposed to be doing? I looked at the upload page and found nothing there that looked related to using the online data entry... That page isn't a crucial part, is it?

What am I missing?

Have they shown up yet? Mine have been coming up as far as I can tell. I've sold one book so far that way so far, not big results but something.

Yes! And, I am proud to say, sold one already. I have tons more to list, it is just a question of finding the time.

When your book sold, did you get a notice through Bibliofind in any way? Or did the person just email you? I got an email out of nowhere and it took me a while to figure out where they saw the book! I thought Bibliofind itself alerted us somehow.

I have not attempted to place an order through Bibliofind, so I'm not sure what the exact procedure is. It came through with the subject line that I had a prepaid order. I assume the fellow clicked on the store name and placed the order his self, as when I checked the Bibliofind page, it didn't say I had any orders.

What payment methods are you folks listing? I don't have a merchant account, so I can't take credit cards directly. Are any of you saying you accept PayPal, Billpoint, or any of them, and then sending an invoice for the customer to pay? I'll be setting up on Bibliofind in the coming months, too.

I know exactly what you mean. I don't have a merchant account either. I looked over some of the other listings, some take check and mo only. Some also list Billpoint and/or Paypal. Right now, I have it listed as I take credit cards, but I think that will have to change to "credit cards via Billpoint/Paypal."
I WISH there were another option for credit cards other than these 2, I hate to mess up the accounts as I've been using them. I've managed to keep them both basically free, but that is getting harder to do.

I offer the same as with my auctions: check, MO, Paypal non-credit cards, Paydirect.
