This has been known for quite awhile. Many of these employees were offered incentives to help "ease" the stress of getting laid off. Just part of trimming the fat as they consolidate warehouse operations. I think that Bezos has always had the notion of being the last man standing and reaping all the benefits. I for one am betting that he will.
