Anyone read this story on cnnfn.com?

http://cnnfn.cnn.com/2001/04/11/companies/amazon/

I wonder what's up with that, and how it will affect selling on Amazon, if at all?

I don't know if it's a done-deal yet, but the other night I saw Jeff Bezos on TV ( I think it was the nightly business report) and he was telling about having Borders as a partner. It sounds like Borders is going to use the Amazon e-commerce system and pay a flat fee for the service. Then Amazon would share in the revenue. Bezos seemed to think it would be a trememdous opportunity for both companies. Sounds like other book sellers might come on board their e-commerce system. It would enable book sellers to sell their stock online, but it wasn't clear if the buyer would do it on Amazon's site or use another link with the book sellers's name. There should be some news on this on some of the news sites. I saw it on Monday or Tues night.
Bezos also did an interview on Letterman this week.
