I have just listed some auctions on amazon. This is my first attempt. I use auctionwatch to list and host my images. I see my auctions are up, but if you search for them, I notice the image does not pop up as a thumbnail like many other listings. The image is there if you look at the auction page. Why is that? I'm sure this answer is simple but can't seem to locate it. Thanks

Amazon's thumbnail subsystem (ATS-?) is very
slow to pick up your image sometimes. It will
happen eventually. What is worse is when you
relist a book where the new cover is different from the last copy, but ATS doesn't know the difference. So for several days the thumbnail will show one thing and the large image will show something entirely different.

I used to use a service similar to AW and the thumbnails would not work. I would have to upload them to Amazon. I'm not sure but that may be the case here also. I remember the other place I used would put in a
http:-------.null.gif in the place for photo. I'd get the camera icon just not the pic for thumbnail.
