I am a DVD auction seller on Ebay. List a lot, sell OK. Offhandedly, I listed a couple of DVDs in marketplace that Amazon was out of and they sold. So I haphazardly go through and whenever I see one they don't have, I'd list it. I have good DVD access.
And that's been it. Concentrating on my Ebay auctions.
I've been reading on this board where some people place 100 - more- in marketplace. I have my list in "my accounts" of those sales open, but how do you manage 100? Do they appear as a group somewhere (I assume a default z-shop)? Do you list any other way than going to the page of that item and selecting "I have one to sell"?
I've always thought that the buyer looks for an item in Amazon, finds Amazon is out of it, then clicks into "collectables" or "used" and buys. If they are buying from some location other than that, how would I know it?
In marketplace, can you list a new book or DVD that Amazon has up for sale and be successful unless you are able to cut their price by 20%?
I want to volume sell on Amazon but I am clueless. I sell around $1K a month offhandedly. It's possible I don't understand what "marketplace" encompasses but have only been using a small portion of its capabilities.
I'm going to list around 25 on their auction site just to test it though I don't expect much.
I need an approach. I sell new DVDs. Any experienced hands got any ideas?
