What a recommendation: An unknown piece of "amazing" software that does -- what?, has "a few tech flaws" that cause crashes if something isn't quite in whack, and has a "kinda steep" price.
To.....: [email protected]
Subject: eBay Item #245255824 Second Bidder: xxxxxxx
Hi,
You were the second high bidder on my eBay auction #245255824
Dogs: Collie Bearded From Turkmenistan 1300
The high bid on this item was $18.00 and your bid was for $12.00
Now, I have a second item of the same that I can sell to you
for your bid of $12.00.
If you want it, please reply to this email without changing
the subject, and my software will send you a message with
my mailing address, shipping, etc. and I will hold the item
for you for seven days. Please reply to this message on or
before Feb13. If my software hasn't received a reply by
then, it will write to the next high bidder.
Thanks,
Hubert.
P.S. If you reply to this message, please take care not to
change the subject. (The body of the message will be ignored
by the software).

Oh yeah....well I don't think it's illegal to make a feature in a software program that will do something illegal by eBay rules Anyway, anyone else dl that program and look at it? What do you think?

CIX if you dont have anything constructive to say and just plan on dropping crap into my threads, I'd apprecaite it if you would not post in them. Thanks, ed.

The program might be a little more believable if more than just one of the user names recommending it were valid accounts on eBay.
And, Ed123, nobody said anything about it being "illegal" to code in support for something that is against another company's policies - but it's certainly doesn't show good business sense.

Well I havent used it yet, I was just looking around for somethikgn to use and stumbled across it. It looks to be very feature rich based on the trial copy I dl'ed and the website.
As for real ids? Yeah, like I'm going to reveal my eBay id for people here to try to put me out of business. There are some sick twisted individulals that roam this baord!

A keyword search for "Lorenasoft" at eBay turns up eight auctions. The seller has a fb rating of nearly 2000, with 70 pages of listings (stamps). I don't see any reason to believe Ed123 is associated with this product.

Wait, let me dust off my copy of Emily Post.... Okay, nevermind.

Nono, no association. I was searching eBay for mangment software and found these starting at $50 so took a look, that's all.

Just looked at the Lorenasoft system, and honestly from a mere look, I can't tell anything about it. I would consider trying it with their free 30 test version - but it would have to wait till I have time to learn a new program.
Actually, it currently appears to be a set up for those who do hundreds of auctions all at the same time on eBay - which we don't do on eBay anymore - NOW, if this worked with YAHOO, I'd be interested as I do hundreds of auctions there.
I AGREE with the poster who said Lorenasoft could have a better web site - I look for that professional touch anytime I consider purchasing a product.
So, for now, I'll stay with Auction Assistant, it has done the job for us for years.
