I checked out your auction because I know that I certainly love that when that happens to me! I was watching an auction last week for an electric fan motor, (yes one of those turn on the the fan momma, it's hot in here) fans. Started at $9.99 and ended at $6602.00. Wouldn't I like to have half dozen of those. Item #534137980.
Anyway, when I was looking at your watch, I couldn't tell from the pic, but doesn't it look very similar to the one in #539859267 maybe that could give you clue to it's value!

Thanks for your reply.....Wouldn't that be great if my watch went that high.....You will have to watch with me so you can tell by the ending price on it if I am doing cartwheels in my kitchen!! ~smile~
I looked at that fan, which they would have kept the pictures on the auction so I would know what to look for this summer at the auctions and flea markets! Not sure what I would do first with an auction closing at over $6,000, but I'm sure it wouldn't take long to figure it out!! That would be exciting! I heard recently of a man going to an action and buying a piece of "Tea Leaf" pattern compote or vase (can't remember which now) but it had damage and they couldn't get a bid at the auction on it so he bid $1.00 and got it......Put it up on ebay and sold it for over $13,000....I was shocked when I heard it and had to go in and look up the auction first to verify....sure enough it did...The seller lives in Ohio and at that selling price he hand delivered it to the guy in Columbus that bought it.....turns out he collect that pattern and even though it had several damage cracks on it, it was a rare piece that he (and evidently a few other bidders) did not have! Can't even imagine a sale like that!
