Be sure to read the whole thread. It's obviously a troll post. That's the nice thing about having AW as a back up. I came over here, because I knew that PayPal's detractors would be whooping it up over here if it were true. Not a word here, and by the time I rechecked the thread on T&S, the claim was pretty well debunked. The fact that the poster made multiple posts to every one of the boards did nothing for his credibility, either. I hope he's NARU'ed on Ebay for every ID he has, and PayPal takes legal action against him. This kind of cr*p makes me ill.

The beauty of the internet is you can spread a rumor faster than you can spread the truth. The truth is boring, but a rumor... ah... juicy news that shocks sells. Isn't the news at the grocery store checkout much more entertaining than the news in the NY times?
PayPal signed a major deal yesterday for between 100 and 200 million but a 'troll' post gets the attention.

I was listening to a talk radio out on the west coast yesterday. It looks like the money man (CH) praised PayPal.

I wish Paypal would go public, i'd like a piece of the action. It's a great service!

I'm no cheerleader but PP is in absolutely no danger of going bankrupt any time in the near future. But since they have yet to show a profit and their customer service seems to be dedicated to angering their customers, I wouldn't be so quick to invest.
