I'll be watching for the answers myself, I think it's done on an Access Database, and I'd like to know if it has any flexibility in customizing it or adding to it. I was going to build one on Access, but if I can buy one that already has most of what I want and could add to it, it would be worth the money.

Go to their site and e-mail their customer service with your questions. They answer you within hours - just fantastic people over there. I am a very happy user!

BTW - they took care of eBay's mail system right on schedule - just downloaded a little patch and it was up-to-date.

It doesn't appear that they have image hosting, otherwise they seem very similar to AW. Does anyone know of another service that does everything AW does but doesn't take an unreasonable chunk of your profits?

I use Auction Trakker. Tried Auction Amigo in the earlier days but did not like it. Trakker is OK. I am going to try their bulk loading software and see how it works. For sure I am not interested in fees per listing and having yet another hand in my meager profit pocket. One thing that is totally overlooked on all the posts is we frequently have to list the same item several times before it sells. The claim is "it is only a nickel" but in fact it a nickel times the number of listings required to finally sell the item. The real cost can mount up to significant number of $$ if you are a volume lister.

I've heard good stuff about AAPro so am going to download it. One time cost of $39.95 and there are lots of places to take your pics. My only prob is that I don't know how to move my pics..After I upload them to AW, I delete them from my computer. Is it possible to move them from AW to another host? Thanks! shark

Hey Sharkbaby,

This is the only method that I am aware of. Click on each pic in AW, right click and save picture as... Hope this helps.

I started using Auction Amigo when eBud made the announcement about their ridiculous new fee structure. I liked AA so much I purchased AAPro.

It's even got an auction creating feature, which eBud didn't. I can create my auctions at my leisure, save them in an "outbox" and post them when I want. You can post them individually or in bulk. You can't schedule them to automatically launch, which isn't a big deal to me since I prefer to do it myself in case of glitches.

I'm hoping they stick with their "one time purchase" and don't go to a subscription thing like eBud... I wouldn't mind paying a SMALL fee annually, like $20 or so, but there's no way I'm paying $100+ every year for something that really is just a convenience for me.

Thanks, sandvet! I'll check that out.

I was concerned because once, when AW was having all these big problems a few months ago, I went to Honesty & tried to take some pics with me and they got all distorted on the new auctions...weird!

So I, being of a non-computer mind, assumed that AW did something to the pics to preclude me from using them elsewhere after they had been uploaded here.

Downloading it now....
Now this is more like it...a SOFTWARE company that says it LISTENED to it's users and THEN decided to make a ONE-TIME purchase pricing policy.
Question is will they stick with it?

Probably, until they sell out to another comapny, which will then decide to change the pricing policy. At least, that seems to be the way things have been going lately.

Auctiva offers everything that Auction Watch does for about $120.00 per year, but if you prefer, you can pay a little more and pay by the month, quarter, etc. I really like the post management program ~ has always been called Ebud, and now that Ebud has merged with Eposter and the whole thing is a package, I will use it too. I down loaded Amigo last night, looks nice, but I just like Ebud too much to jump ship right this second. I will be looking in to Amigo, and may decide to go with them, but only time will tell.

I have used AuctionAmigo for about a month now and have been messing with it. Let me tell you that the regular price is $69.99 but if you buy 2.0 by March 9th, you will only pay $39.99.

It is WELL worth the money. I posted about 100 messages about it yesterday AKA 0 because they were all deleted. I guess they are being slightly more liberal today.

I had recomended it to a LOT of people and almost everyone I recomended it to contacted me a short time later and said they loved it. The only negative I could even think of with the program is that the first time you start it, it takes a while to import your eBay Auctions. besides that, its perfect and worth every penny.

The only thing is, I don't have a good way to handle my pictures, I use AOL, and I get limited space, any other suggestions?

Auction Amigo actually ties in with another free image service so its no problem! If you did not like that service, I found there are a number of others including Zing which another user pointed me to and said it was great.

There are plenty of places out there, you just have to find them.

Anyone else here have any more image host recomendations?
