hi,
i looked at your website and read a few lines.
what is the gripe and why are you linking from ebay to that page and why is ebay throwing you out?also what is meant by ebay ransom?
most buyers are not interested in reading a seller's life history, ancestry and gripes etc, they just want to buy an item.
someone has her grand parents and her parents and her childhood photo on me page, some talked about bondage with a pet etc etc,
lets just keep things simple?
but i see you have some kind of explanations on that site etc etc paypal and emails ,makes people wonder if they want to buy from you ??

So, Peppopat, people who don't agree with you are "nasty"?

Do you realize what that makes you?

i am not being nasty,i went to your website and it is hard to read all the fine details with a dark blue background.
most ebay bidders are in a hurry to see them all and bid and move on,if a pic loads too slowly, they move on,too wordy ,they move on,not enough info, they move on.
so how many are going to visit your site to read about gripes.yes, there are some,a wholesaler bot a closeout inventory and searched for buyers and found me,these folks read a lot so they can sell you something, like 12,000 infocommercials if you have this kind of money.
why dont you just tell us why ebay throw you out>is it outside link?is it badmouthing billpoint??

I, too, reviewed your web page from the link provided. Unfortunately, the poor grammar at the beginning made it difficult for me to understand what was really going on and it failed to keep my attention. When I walk into a Brick and Mortar business, I don't want to hear about what the previous customer did or didn't do to make the owner's life miserable...I think the majority of on-line people don't want to hear these dragged out issues either. Just my opinion.
I was disappointed that your second post on this site was to call hwahwahwahwa nasty when actually that poster took more time to view and respond than I did. I also have to agree with hwahwahwahwa's first response.

not toybuyer on ebay
edited to correct my grammar

peppopat: Hi, I'm trying to better understand your issues. From reading the site that you posted here, it seems that you've recently had a problem with a transaction concerning Paypal... is that right?

Paypal has a toll free help number:

1 888 221 1161

eBay doesn't really have anything to do with Paypal (eBay owns part of Billpoint, which is the OTHER online payment option that many folks offer).

Regarding the LINK to your site from an eBay listing... I believe that it would (technically) be a violation of eBays new linking policy to link directly to that site from a listing... however, I think that (maybe?) It would be alright to link to a site off of eBay from your ABOUT ME page. You'd need to double check the rules on that though, to determine if there is anything on that page being linked to from the About Me page that would violate some of the criteria within eBays guidelines for that as well.

If eBay has suspended you for LINKING Violations, it's quite possible that once you remove whatever "offending" text or links sited that you could be reinstated.

If you rely heavily on income from eBay sales... you might want to strongly consider putting your pride aside and doing whatever it takes to become a member in good standing.

Otherwise, there ARE some other alternative sites you could try:

www.bidville.com
www.carnaby.com
www.sellyouritem.com
www.321gone.com
www.yahoo.com
www.amazon.com
www.epier.com

I've listed whatever I could think of right off the top of my head in no particular order.

GOOD LUCK to you.

I took the time to review and sort through all the details of this poorly constructed web site peppopat.

Frankly, I am surprised that you are surprised that eBay gave you the boot! It is quite clear in the Seller agreement that you do not disclose the identity of your Buyers. Not only did you disclose who they were specifically by name, but went on to disclose their address, place of business, email accounts, and phone numbers!

Sorry, but for you to link this to an auction listing is outrageous and has nothing to do with whatever it is you are selling. Evidently, you need an audience to vent to? I for one, would never do business with a Seller that felt airing his gripes about past customers was a smart thing to do. Additionally, I would wonder about a Seller that could not, at a minimum, honor and protect the privacy of those Buyers that bid on their auctions. Afterall, you DID agree to do that when accepting the Seller Agreement, no?

Yes, I am very glad eBay gives the boot to those Sellers that seek revenge at the expense of others through linking their auctions to sites that spout their personal vendettas against other ebayers. Sad situation---but really now, you are out nothing--you never did send the item to the Buyer---so what REALLY is your gripe?

Hmmm, come to think of it, shouldn't AW lock this thread due to the disclosing of personal identifying information on the reported link? Better yet, remove it entirely because it does violate the "commmunity rules"?
