Since you asked...
Yup. Any size website link is prohibited.
Over the weekend I was sent a warning from SafeHarbor for stating "Be sure to visit my website (link is on my "me" page) for more details." The website link is not even on my listings--it is on my me page like eBay says it must be. Now they say I can't "advertise" that my website link is there!

Is is ok to list a link that opens up a new window to the item's product information page?
For example, if I'm selling ABC Corp's WidgetWonder -- Can I link to ABC Corp's page about the WidgetWonder? I alway make the link open a new window so they don't lose their place on ebay.
I can understand not directing people to places where items could be bought against ebay, but don't see where ALL links can be bad.
Dig up the linking rules 'ala' the "Mighty eBay" and read them...
Someone will report you and your auctions will be ended and that is a BIG pain it the ... !!

tomwiii, no beef was just wondering.
lowprofile, not trying to be a cop. I just find it interesting that there company logo is blatantly large as to almost be smacking ebay in the face. I collect tennis rackets, this is how I came across the ad.
I wouldn't care if they had naked dancing people on their page. IMHO, ebay has gone off the deep end with their rules. I was just making sure that I understand the rules when it comes to ebay. I find that many of us are not quite clear as to what we can and cannot do.
Sorry if the address I posted was not be included. I was just trying to make my point easily. Scot
