i am a new seller on ebay and i am interested in automating the tedious chores of posting and managing my auctions. Can anyone recommend some software tools to make selling easier and faster.
Thank you,

Try going to www.andale.com They charge a small fee, but just by signing up you get $20.00 after you post 5 auctions. And you pay no fees if your items don't sell. Let me know if you go there and like it, because if you let me recommend you, we both get $20.00!! I would also be glad to answer any questions you may have about listing on ebay, I love to help out newbies on ebay!

Hey Cathy,

You forgot to mention how a lot of bidders hate Anadale. The form that looks like an inventory page, buyers being forced to fill out online forms, their information on the Anadale server, the Anadale screw ups....

Your posts given new meaning to the definition of a troll.

So what is the troll business? I guess I'm just not really familiar with the term in the context you're using it. And as for screw-ups, all the sites have had 'em. Paypal, ebay, auctionwatch, you name it! I've been on both sides of it, and I have never minded filling out the Andale forms, even before I used them. But because I don't have to send out a lot of emails, and Andale saves so much time, I offer shipping the same day I receive payment if they pay online. It frees me up to list more auctions, and give faster mailing service to my bidders. I work about 50 hours a a week and have an hour commute each way, so I don't have a lot of free time otherwise. But I do appreciate your feedback, I use it all to help me improve my online auctions.

I am fairly new to selling, but I have been using auction watch. My bigest problem with AW is that when I have someone who has won more then one auction it is a pain. But I do not sell enough to justify paying for a service.

cocacolacathy,

I have deleted several of your posts regarding Andale tonight because they were promotional in nature, which is a violation of the Community Guidelines. I have also written you an email to explain why your posts have been deleted.

I am issuing you an informal warning because of the promotional posts. If you continue to promote other services, your posting privileges will be in jeopardy.

Assuming you are serious everything you say about Anadale is true. It is a real time saver for sellers. It makes the buyers do all of the work. As a bidder why should I pay you for something and then have you try to force me to do all of your record keeping? I am not going to go to the trouble of following a set of instructions and then spend my time entering information on an form for your auction. I want to send my name and address in an email to a seller at the end of an auction, make payment, and receive the item. I won't and many others won't bid on Anadale auctions. If a seller doesn't have the time to put into their auctions then I don't want to deal with them. Lots of people are put off by the online forms, even if you don't mind others do. Anadale was designed for sellers. It is not buyer friendly.

If you are trolling for people to sign up for Anadale so you get a referal bonus I think you came to the wrong place.

Thanks for that information. I didn't think along those lines. I'm posting from a remote location from my home, and don't have access to my regular email, but will review as soon as I get home.

No, actually, I would be just as happy if they went there and were happy with the service. I enjoy helping newbies out, and have answered many questions from emails that I get, and have walked people thru putting auctions on here at auctionwatch. I just had a lot of problems with trying to list auctions to start at a certain time, and having errors when it was time for them to release. In fact, I had a friend who just left auctionwatch because he had 187 auctions he had put in to start at a certain time and only 80 or so went, the rest had errors, and he couldn't get them to list. Ebay had no outages at that time, so what's the deal with that?

Beats me. I don't use AuctionWatch to list auctions. You'll have to do better than this transparent attempt to turn your argument around to problems with AW to promote Anadale. I am outta here. I'm not going to be baited. I got better things to do.

You can think what you like. I certainly wasn't trying to do anthing dishonest to anyone. I guess I just made a mistake and used bad judgement. I guess I'm the only person who ever made a mistake so I guess I will take my lumps while you go polish your halo.

The latest services from Auctionwatch are really very nice, but if you don't have fast always on internet service, or if they just don't quite fit the bill, try what I use...

No halo here, not by a long shot. This isn't the school yard sandbox. This is where the big boys come to play. The big boys who have been around the block a few times. I posted to this thread to try to protect the new seller who came here looking for real information and got your Anadale commissionable infomercial instead. rngroup was gracious and posted good objective information. And please spare us the poor little me I made a mistake and you came after me line. Manipulation won't work either.

Excuse me, but I have been around online auctions for several years now and I am familiar with a lot of tools to use. I just felt that it could be mutually beneficial since he had asked for auction tools to use, and I knew of one that worked well for me. I'm sorry that you feel so strongly against their service. If someone doesn't want to bid on my auctions because I use Andale, I certainly won't lose sleep over it, and I am aways glad to send them the information directly rather than them having to fill out the check out if they don't want to. Seems to me you feel like since you don't like a system, there's absolutely no merit in it. I'm glad everyone isn't as narrowminded and mean spirited.
