Are you charging $5.00 for shipping/handling using Priority Mail? I know several are and have been both revered and condemned on these boards...
I was searching for auctions of my favorite artist and ran across this TOS for five books, none more than an inch thick:
Buyer will pay $51 to have this item boxed and shipped.
Apparantly, this seller uses ebay to support his crack habit.

This is nothing Compared to what big mail order companies are chargeing we order CDs from columbia hous one of then deals get 12 cds for a dime you pay .10 the shipping charges came to $32 for shipping there was no insurance and the package had PB mail stamp on it.
I can scan the invoice if you would like proof
invoice state .10 for the merchantdise $32 for shiping USPS total cost $32.10

Wow - Ah, the wonders of it all!! And a lot of us sit still for that kind of stuff!!
I saw something a while back that I'll surely implement when the next opportunity exists - the seller said she would ship (in this instance) UPS freight collect!! Not the whole bid plus shipping y'see - just the shipping "collect" - the buyer surely can't poke holes in that... I'll try that too, some day...
