mbalai: I was astounded when I read this, as I am very very very well aware that locally the 3-D craze for Pokemon has decreased this year to ...uhm, substantially maybe a full one percent of what it was, back in its heyday.

so now.... I gotta find out if there is some way to learn WHICH Pokemon mdse is actually in demand at eBay.

I also was surprised by the great interest in DVDs, and that's just great that so many people look for them AT EBAY, as there's lotsa places to buy DVDs both online and offline.

Say! I thought that from reading about VEROs that the Longaberger VERO ended lotsa basket auctions, or am I confusing this brandname with one of millions of gadzillions of other brandnames?

How does EBay quantify requests? If it is by the number of searches, I wonder how many are prior collectors looking to unload and are checking prices. You can count me (my son actually), in that number.

Thank God I was outbid in the last few seconds of an auction last Christmas for a Pokedex. I bid more than $80 for one, was sniped, and then found it at Target for $17 the next day.

Gee, and i thought SEX would've ranked up there...

Oh yeah, that's right...Adult Area is nothing more than a technological wasteland. Silly me!

Pokemon is nowhere near as hot as last summer and fall but a lot of kids are still interested.
However, last year the supply of boosters lagged behind the demand, now they print plenty. Similiar with the non-card spinoffs, but they never were near as popular as the cards, so today are nearly dead.
The games at the Wizards store are still attracting overflow crowds of kids here.
I buy some for the kids and have sold a very few, run into a fairly high level of kids a and charlatans on either end.

Capriole-I just happened to stumble on the last one being held behind the counter for a customer that didn't return soon enough.

I also had already discovered that I had no talent for predicting toy fads. I had picked up a minor supply of other Pokemon items with this intent and ended up giving them as gifts.
