I will spare everyone the details of this long and troubled transaction, and summarize:
Auction ended 7/14. After a long and frustrating e-mail exchange, I paid via Paypal. (I do take some responsibility here; I knew from fb she was lousy at answering e-mail. And when she did, she always raised more questions than she answered.) I sent payment. About two weeks later, no item.
So I e-mailed her and asked, sweetly, what was going on. She replied that I should get my item within four or five days. (I paid for priority shipping; this tells me she hadn't sent the mdse at that point.)
Seven days after that e-mail, I was pretty upset. I sent her the following message:
"As of today, the (mdse) has not arrived. It has been 17 days since I sent
payment, including priority shipping cost. Please let me know by Wednesday how you intend to resolve this. At this point, the most attractive option to me is a refund."
I've heard nothing from her -- until a few days ago, when she leaves me positive feedback!
So now I'm mystified. I think by this point she deserves a neg, but I also know that will spell the end of my attempts to get the mdse. At this point, I'm fairly sure she's trying to string me along to get past the 60 days. I want to try one more e-mail to convince her to send the merchandise, but I'm not sure it will be effective. Any suggestions?
p.s. pulling contact info and calling is not a good idea. I don't do well on the phone; I tend to lose my temper more readily.

wordgirl -
Send her one email with a SUBJECT indicating that the package is a month overdue and negative FB is imminent if she doesn't answer and let you know when it was shipped.

May be email her and ask if perhaps you should consider a chargeback since it seems as though she has no intention of sending your item.

- wordgirl- write to Paypal and request a charge back. Let them know that you didn't receive the item. They will take the money out of her account, and if she has none, they will charge it to her credit card if she is verified!

File a fraud claim with Ebay. Maybe that will get her moving, and if nothing else, will put a mark on her record that will help get her removed from the system. It is also the first step toward filing an insurance claim, if your purchase qualifies.

wordgirl Re: paid for priority mail.....so this told me.......Priority has no guarantee whatsoever on delivery time,I sure wish it did! They claim a 2 to 3 day "average delivery ".It can be 2 days or 22 days or even more.

I don't believe there is a limit of time anymore as to when we have to file feedback on eBay. As for you paying thru paypal are you and her verified? If you both are they will make good for it if not you are up a creek without a paddle unless you have a credit card company that will charge back.
Report her to [email protected] cut and paste your emails back and forth and ask them for their help.
