There is much discussion going on about verification processes and personally I no longer bid on auctions that accept ONLY money orders or checks and refuse to do business with services such as paypal, xcom, billpoint etc. All these companies have security measures in place to protect both the seller and buyer and anyone that would not want that kind of protection certainly is bound to lose out sooner or later with customers both ways.
It doesn't matter if an eBay seller has 800 feedback if he is not verified with any of these services it's not worth the risk. I have been scammed by 2 power sellers with excess of 1500 and 3500 feedback and they won't use any of those services.
IT'S SMART BUSINESS to want to do right by our buyers and sellers if we plan to stay on the internet and do business. The internet and ecommerce is still in the pioneer stage of the game and we are it's pioneers and at the growth it is going much security is going into place for all our protection and if we don't want to be a part of it we will soon be by-gones of the internet business. Just like any othe form of business if we want to play we must by the rules of the game otherwise we must leave the game and go elsewhere.
