Greetings.
I have been poking around ebay for a while now, and I've noticed that some auctions have their own little counters, telling everyone how many times the auction has been visited.
Now that I've finally gone and started posting up auctions myself, I want to add counters to my auctions as well. Of course, the way life works, I can't find any pages with counters now, whose links I can follow to whatever websites provide counters.
If you could tell me where to go to get free counters to put on my website, I would greatly appreaciate it. Thanx.

If you use AuctionWatch to post you will get the free counters. Since you already posted this message, I assume you have are a member.

Too easy!

Click on the Auction Manager navigation tab, at the top of this page, then select Counters (towards the right). Follow the instructions and AW will add your counters!

Hope this helps

I personally don't use counters. It's not how many times they look, but how often they bid.

I'm curious how others feel about them.

Thanks... But (the inevitable but)

I was hoping to post the counters on my Gothic Auctions listings... and, Gothic Auctions isn't registered with Auctionwatch. *sigh* It's really a very nice site - no fees to either seller or buyer, but not much security either (anyone with an email address can sign up). www.gothicauctions.com

Anyway, I'm still looking for a solution...

I use counters for one reason. This is what I do.

If I have several of the same item and they can be listed in different catagories I list two of them for the same length of time in two different catagories.

Then by watching the counters I can determine which catagory is being looked at the most.

More lookers usually means more buyers

After the two auctions are over I then know where I want to list in the future.
