I have Outlook Express e-mail, and I was wondering if there is a way to send the same e-mail over and over, like when I send my name and address information to my auction winners? I hate retyping the same stuff each time.

Do you have word processor? Save your win notification as a doc or txt file. At the very least, you can just cut and paste the info into your emails.
Or, depending upon the version, you could send an MS Word doc as an email. That works best for me.

Compose EOA, send to yourself, then receive it. Park it in a folder. Bring it up when needed then copy and paste text onto new message. I just tried to find another way but the only thing I could come up with was to "insert a file" and that would entail more steps than the above method. I'm open to a quicker way.

You didn't say whether you were using Windows or Mac. I use form letters stored in Word that couple to my database for auction specific information. I put the letter into the clipboard and paste right into an email.
If you want to put non auction specific emails together in a flash, you can use Clipboard Plus to save it. You just grab the saved file and paste it into your email. There's also Shortkeys Lite which is great for short little phrases. These are Windows freeware.
On the Mac there's TypeIt4Me, which is shareware and it's superb.
You can save drafts of emails, but I find these tools to be better, especially for replies.

Hello Muriel. I use OE also and here is what I did . First, I made a new folder in OE called "Your choice of name" , by right clicking on "Local Folders". Then I emailed myself a copy of the eoa or whatever and moved it to the new folder. Whenever I want to send the same email to someone , I just go into the folder, copy it and then paste it into the new mail. Works for me. Hope this helps.

I would not send .DOC files as attachments. They are far larger than plain text, more bother for some to open, and unopenable for some. They can also carry macro viri ("viruses" ).
The suggestions for cutting and pasting sounds good.
By the way, Outlook (Express) tends to default to another non-text setting (HTML email), which will render your notes in a messy format for those that don't have compatible email or that choose not to keep HTML email active on their side (due to email "bugs," colored background, or other non-essentials). Please check out http://www.houghi.org/ to correct the problem.
Sorry if this is more than you need to know. Like I said, cutting and pasting is probably the best option.

I create form letters in an updated Notepad program called NotePad+. It allows me to see up to the last 10 text files that I have been using. I like this program to cut and paste into emails from because there are no formatting problems between text writer and e-mail program.
There are tons of programs for sending out identical e-mails as shareware, demos, or for free. Simply run over to http://www.download.com and type in email or e-mail in the Search field and then select All of CNET if that isn't enough for you.

I use Outlook Express too!
I store all of my form letters in my Draft Folder. I give it a name in the Subject Field, such as "eBay eoa Notice".
Then, whenever I need to send my eoa, I right-click on that draft letter, choose [Copy To Folder], I re-choose the draft folder as the spot to copy it to. Now I have two same documents in my Draft Folder.
I open up one of them and alter it with the new eoa info, recipient email addy and click [send].
I hate having to open Word or any other word processing program to do what I can do easily from Outlook. Hope that helps!

I would try http://www.moochers.com and
http://www.zdnet.com for these programs--I've been using them for over a year and I can't remember which place had what file.
Clipboard Plus puts the saved file into your clipboard. I use it for my auction templates as well. It's much faster than opening a file. ShortKeys lets you type a couple of letters and it spills out the entire phrase
or short email (Use Clipboard Plus for longer stuff)

Try using a signature with just a couple of uncompleted sentences - one for the item description and one for the total plus shipping. Speedy, speedy.

yeah I was gonna say if you want to make EOA simple make a signature file with you main body then you can just click compose email add your subject the address your mailing to choose the sig file you made add the Item number and price and send poof all done.
tip you can make many sig files with different names for different thing like second notice and so on just choose which sig file to use for each mail.
I recommend you send these emails to your self till your happy with the look and setup after that your good to go till you feel its time for a freash look.

Just for clarification, I would also not recommend anyone send an EOA as an attachment. I'm not familiar with OE (I'm using Outlook 2000), but with Office 2000, I can save my EOA in Word, and send it directly from word as an email (not an attachment, an actual email).
