They've been over 5m before, back in May. It's pretty normal for their totals to go up after kids are back in school and fall begins.

In late december '96 the total listings fell from 100,000 to 97,000 and I never thought the total would rise above 100,000 again.

cdnbooks-LOL-friend of mine bought eBay at 50 (first day or two as I recall) and sold it shortly thereafter at 25, losing half his investment. Very true story.
