Let me rest your fears about your phone numbers. I put my phone number in every auction I run on ebay, I urge people to call me or email me with questions. I post the time I will be in to take calls- NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED ME ABOUT AN ITEM - NEVER NOT ONCE. You know why? because they have to pay for a long distance call. Its easier to email. They will not call, or at least they never call me. I beg them to call if it mean making a sell. Even the total pissed off, enraged and want to neg me to hell and back, never call, only email. As long as you don't have a toll free number, your off the hook...pardon the pun

I think that you're right. Except people in Ohio will call about the most minute point. They're strange in Ohio.

Well, I'll take you word on Ohio. But I really did try to get people to call me, they just would not. Probably though, people who are selling computers or electronics could get a few calls wanting free tech support. If I sold that kind of stuff I'm just take the phone off the hook. Kinda like the guy did that I bought the computer from I am using now. Told me he sold to missionaries, as God as his witness - Its given me a headache the day I opened the box. He advertised call if you have any problems, well he was right you could call but that didn't mean he would answer the phone.

Lots of people list phone numbers in their auctions. I have friends who sell very high end items on eBay and they rarely get phone calls even though they list their phone number to call.

Yes,

It's where most of the Antique shops are located.

ShellyHerr,

It wasn't exactly a BIG leap of logic for the moderators...NO offense intended, joice!
