Valerie, You had it locked before I could ask a question. You said in your post that all of your negatives were because of items broken by UPS, that is not true, why say that when it is so easy to see them all in a row? Heather

In all fairness you have less than a 1% negative feedback rating, I am just curious.

hcross ... with all due respect, I think this is a little off topic, and perhaps a little too personal. It almost begs a fight.
I respectfully ask you to request that this thread be locked to avoid any emotional, and non-retractable posts that may result.

I can't believe that valerie47 requested that the other thread be locked after she deleted her posts. Could it be that the buyer showing up just might have shed a little too much light on the situation? I guess we'll never know now...

The seller had thousands of positive feedback comments. And no negatives or neutrals in at least the last 6 months. I think you've got to look at it in context. And in context, you'll likely find a hard working, honest seller, who probably regrets posting here at all, and likely needs to take a break from selling to recharge her batteries. I've been there.

I can't say for sure why she deleted all of her posts, but I think it's telling that the deletions began less than 2 minutes after I let it be known that I had invited the bidder who was accused of lying.
By the way, I edited my first post to that thread to include a note to the buyer in question. Hopefully, he will show up and start a new thread.
And, to be fair, Valerie does have well over 99% positive feedback.

I had been reading the posts from the locked thread, however, I kept all comments to myself.
Seeing this thread now, and the comments posted here, I think you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Can't leave well enough alone, eh?
I had reviewed the seller's feedback and think the negative comments posted here are uncalled for. She has several thousands of positive feedbacks and about a half of ONE percent of negatives.
Looks like she's got a great business going if you ask me.

You're probably correct. That's why it's important for us to think about what we are going to say before we say it. The very first post in the locked thread was condescending to the buyer, who wasn't there to defend him/herself.
As far as the 3000+ feedback is concerned, you're probably right again. But 3000+ feedback is no excuse to think that you own the world and that you can treat a bidder like dirt. And the email that the seller admittedly sent to this customer treated the customer like dirt. Plain and simple. A 3000+ feedback is a great achievement and valerie47 should rightly be proud of it. But in the context of this transaction, that 3000+ feedback is completely irrelevant. Actually, it's worse than irrelevant. It was used as an excuse to hammer the customer when the customer wasn't around to defend him/herself.
I agree that maybe valerie47 needs a break from eBay, lest those negatives mutilply...

I did say that she had less than 1% negative feedback rating, but she made a statement on here that was false. The number of negatives is fine, I imagine it would be hard to do that kind of volumn without receiving quite a few negatives. I am not attacking her, she had the other thread locked before I could ask. Hell, I have .72 negative feedback, 4 on 446, my ratio is higher than hers. My other account has 275 with 3 negatives making it .88 percent. So, I am no Pollyanna by any means. Heather
