I just downloaded the evaluation copy of Paint Shop Pro version 7.0 (32megs). I wanted to bring it to your attention because of some exciting new features that will be a BIG help to so many Sellers.
The most exciting new features for Sellers deal with color correction/color balancing of photos. JASC has added a whole new section on just this subject alone. If you've been spending too much time trying to correct for indoor lighting, JASC just made that chore a 5-second one!
I opened up a digital photo that I recently took. While my camera does automatically correct for color balance, my lighting tends to slowly shift and therefore, so does the color balancing while shooting. So not every great photo comes out perfect.
But this is not about your cameras or their features. I wanted you to know that I had to adjust the color balance after the photos were shot.
I usually shoot against a white background, so color correction is easier to do (if the background is "white", then by shifting the color arrangements around enough, I can make the background white opnce again). The opened image had a little bit too much Blue added to it. I opened the control in PSPro 7.0 for the adjustment and all I had to do was to press the Proof button and the image was totally corrected! WOW!
So, if you've been hassling over color balance/color corrections in your graphics program, Paint Shop Pro 7.0 from http://www.jasc.com will fix that problem for you!
P.s. if you already have a registered version of PSPro, you can upgrade to 7.0 for US$39.95 instead of US$49.95 ($109 shelf price).

There are small FREE programs that will do the same. And GIMP (the not-quite-ready for Joe Average graphics user, high-powered but flaky, program from www.gimp.org) has superb color correction.
Give me a few minutes and I'll have the URL for the free ones. I posted it once before.
