I am so mad I can't see straight. I had a dutch auction close on the evening of 9/12. Sent out auction notices first thing 9/13. Bidder paypaled late on 9/15 and item was sent out on 9/16. Other than initial response to EOA and Paypal payment, no other communication was made with bidder. Today she negs me saying that she Paypaled on 9/11 (how could that be when the auction didn't close until late on 9/12?) and I lied about when I shipped (she never asked me!) Do you think Ebay would remove the neg on the fact that she obviously lied about when payment was made? She has a feedback of 11 with 4 negs for nonpayment in the past 7 days, so I guess I should feel lucky that I even got my money! What do you think?

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
After six months they will not even consider removing a negative, so you have time to work on it.
Ebay will want email correspondence with headers and it wouldn't hurt to have a link to the closed auction for them to look at.
Don't expect instant response as it will have to be investigated. They seldom remove a negative unless there is good grounds and proof that you didn't deserve it. The number of negatives the bidder has should help you in this respect.

Respond to the neg and point out the discrepency.
Actually, you are fortunate that she included clearly false info in the neg. Once you respond, her comment will be meaningless to anyone with a lick of sense.
