I have a couple of auctions running for high end items which are attracting bids.
I have one bidder on both auctions who has an appalling track record and far too many negatives for non payment.
I am entitled to cancel their bids for this reason.
The auctions have nine days left to run and I don't want them ruined because of this bidder.
If this is a legitamate reason and acceptable by eBay, what is the proper procedure for me to take?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Bob.

I've cancelled bids from bidders with excessive neg. feedback. You have to give a reason and I just put something like "Bid cancelled because of 'user name's' feedback record." I've never had any problem.

After you cancel the bids, send the person an email informing them that you have done so (and why), and request that they don't bid on your auctions again. Keep that email, and if they do bid again, cancel it, then forward the email to [email protected] and tell them you have had to cancel the bid a second time. The bidder will be suspended.
