I received a negative from a bidder who won an auction for a book but, lives in Canada and I only ship to the US. I had sent a e-mail saying that I would still sell the book but, needed more money for shipping because the shipping quoted in the auction was for US shipping. The bidder says he never received my original e-mail.He had sent a postal money order. I resent the original e-mail this morning before I read the negative feedback. I am a relative newbie with 11 positives so, This could hurt me. Any suggestions? Thanks.

A well worded response to the neg can help. A CALM well worded response, don't do it while your angry.
Another option is to start over, set up a new account. I'm not sure which I'd do in your position, 10 positives with one negative might look bad, but we all know that looks can be deceiving.

The 11th feedback I received was a neg (retaliatory). I've received 480+ positives since then; it's not a big deal in the larger scheme of things.
