5 TIMES AND IT WAS A PHOTOGRAPH. THE 5TH TIME IT GOT A BID THE FIRST DAY.
EBAY IS LIKE THE BEACH THE TIDE GOES IN AND GOES OUT AND NEW BIDDERS WASH UP ON SHORE AND THEN THEY WASH BACK OUT. KEEP PLUGGING AWAY!

I am constantly amazing my how many of my relisted items get bids, and many the first day or two! Where were you bidders before? And most of them sell for more than I expected the first time. One thing I have learned, resist the urge to do a "mark down". 95% of my items sell the second time around, and at the original price. Don't sell yourself short ! (No pun intended!)
As far as markdowns go, I have this fear that my regulars will see a pattern of me putting things on "sale", and they will then NOT bid right away, hoping the price will drop. Maybe it's just lil' old paranoid me!

I recently had an item listed at $99. No bids. Relisted at $99. Still, no bids. Relisted again. Sold for $340. I can't explain it, but I liked it.

Occasionally I relist items with a HIGHER starting price than the first time. Once in awhile it works and they get bids.

Tonight I had a pair of boots that lanished all summer on Yahoo, after doing nothing on Ebay all through May sell for 32 bucks....they were listed at 6.99.

I had a computer book sold, than the bidder deadbeated, relisted and again got another deadbeat. Third time around I upped the price two bucks and it sold.
I have raised some prices and that seems to get bids--go figure!
