I'm looking for recommendations for identifying modern crystal tableware patterns. I have most of the good ones for Depression-era elegant glassware, but nothing for more modern pieces. I've collected several really nice contemporary pieces, and need to be able to name the patterns. (By contemporary, I mean that they appear to date from the 1960s onward.)

Hi Sonsie, I try to keep those catalogs from David Weiss and Service Merchandise from the 70's and 80's. Tho they don't give a pattern name--they do usually credit the county where they were made.
Also, a wonderful website to browse is:

Scoot around this huge site and their are contempary glass co and patterns mentioned.
Hope this helps.

Replacements Ltd. has an excellent reference on crystal stemware that covers all major manufacturers from early century through contemporary.
Available at http://www.lwbooks.com. If you buy 6 or more of their titles, you get them all at wholesale prices.
