I have a sellers SELLER LIST bookmarked and had a strange thing happen.( The bookmark is for current auctions - no past days.)

I know this seller listed items last evening to run from the 24th through the 1st. However, when I checked their listings this morning, using the bookmark - their seller list is empty. When I run a search on their user id - it shows they do have items listed.

For whatever reason, the bookmark is showing the seller has nothing listed. I wonder if other people have this sellers list bookmarked and getting the same results. I know it is NOT my cache as I emailed the link to another and they got the same result.

Any comments? And does this make sense this early in the morning.

Just possibly does the original list have a banner like AOL or something? The syntax should be the same for all ids.

Nope.

I am more than willing to email anyone this bookmark so you can see what I am talking about. It is very strange. Then once you see who the seller is, you can do a search and see that they do have auctions running. This bookmark is set for current auctions - yet shows them having none. And when you search their id using the search feature for current auctions - it shows they have 47.

Sometimes when I am in another seller's listings I will go to the top and type in another seller's ID. Instead of seeing all the listings, I may get an empty or one page of listings. This one seller I knew had loads of listings made me curious one day, so I clicked on one listing and then clicked on "view sellers other auctions" and saw the usual 13 pages of listings.
I think if might have to do with the cgi script that needs certain pages and listings per pages.
Anyhow that's my experience. So I keep an old sale in watch or go back through feedback to find a great seller....or I make a bid that will surely not beat the current bidder and that way I have them in history for a while.
Good luck!

Well, for a change, my bookmarked sellers lists are working fine - your problem sure seems like a strange one...have you tried to refresh/reload when you have the page open? Or there might be something in the url that corrupted - like the number of items to show-Rosalinda

Your problem is obviously that you did not bookmark the seller list set to those specifications.

In other words; Go to search, then seller search, type seller ID, specify you want ALL items--including completed items, enter it, THEN bookmark the page.

That should update the list (including old auctions) whenever you hit the bookmark.
