and he notes -

eBay is featured on PBS "News Hour" this evening. It is aired in the East between 6 and 8 pm depending on where you live. And is repeated in some areas later in the evening.

I presume it runs about the same times in each time zone.

They give a background of the company with a picture of Pierre, show Meg Whitman in action, give a short tour of the facility and include an interview with a seller who paid $2.00 each for some antique dishes and intends to list them for $75 or so, (smart move - tell everybody what you paid!).

The segment was upbeat and interesting - catch it if you can...

Thanks again, zubzub, for bringing this to our attention. It was a great segment.

For those of you who did not have a chance to tune into NEWS HOUR on your local PBS, it is typically RE-BROADCAST a second time around midnight.

Check your teevee listings to see if this is the case in your vicinity.

They showed one of the Voice of the Customer focus groups, and there was a very nice interview with Rob Chestnut, a very personable lawyer, who reminds me much more of a techie, lol.
