** New Item Watch Reminder E-mails **
Several months ago, we asked for your input on improving the Item Watch process. As
a result of your input, we will begin sending out new Item Watch reminder e-mails
today. The e-mails will be sent to you only if you have items on your “watch” list
and will remind you of items that you are watching that are about to end.
Here’s how the new Item Watch reminder e-mails will work:
If you place an item on the “watch” feature, we will automatically send you a
reminder e-mail. The e-mail will capture all items that end within the next 36
hours. You will only receive this e-mail if you are watching items and are not
currently receiving Daily Status e-mails. If you are already receiving Daily Status
e-mails, the Item Watch reminder will automatically be included within the body of
that e-mail.
You will be able to opt-out of these e-mails by changing your notification
preferences through My eBay or by clicking on the following:
http://pages.ebay.com/services/myebay/optin-login.html
We believe the introduction of the Item Watch reminder e-mails will help you better
track the items you’re interested and help you win more of these items. Happy

This is actually good. If I get reminded that I have stuff on watch I might actually bid on it. It's easy to forget that you have things. Maybe it will increase the bidding.
I sure hope so.

Well that is an improvement. Now I wish they would let us know how many put an auction on their watch list. If Yahoo can do it why can't eBay?

And from a clever DNFer on the watch notice - What will they say, . . . . . . "3 days ago when this auction was still on, we noticed that you were watching it. We just wanted to let you know that you missed it. And even if you had remembered to look, at that time we were having an issue. We hope that you find this service as big a help as most of the rest of our special features here at eBay. Have an eBay Day!"
