I'm kind of new to this forum and I am wondering if there is some way to find a topic without hunting through many pages of them. If I see one I really want to follow, I will put it in my browser's favorites. But sometimes I forget and if the topic doesn't get very many replies, it gets bumped down the list so far that it's very hard to find again.
Just wondering if I'm overlooking a way to find a topic if I know what the title of it is?

I've found that search rather limiting - it only gives me, say, the first dozen entries with the keyword I've entered, which is no help when I'm searching for a thread of six months ago.

It takes a bit of practice, but it usually takes me less than a minute to find a thread from up to 18 months ago. Think of a person who posted to the thread and also a word that they may have used in their post which they wouldn't use that frequently.

Thanks sulyn1950. I tried what you said and it will be very handy. I guess I wasn't looking hard enough or I would have seen the "site search" link.

Also, when you reply to a thread, right under the "Message" section in which you type what you want others to see is an "options" area. You can click the "Email Notification" box and all messages on that thread with be e-mailed to you so that you can watch, but don't have to keep trying to find that thread.
And when you use the Site Search, be sure to click the "include Message Center" box for the search.
