Every now and then I get this message show up on my computer, it says DRIVER MEMORY ERROR Kagou-Anti-Kro$oft says not today Then it has a box that says OK.If you hit the ok it shuts the computer down. The only way I get rid of it is to use the GO Back as I have a Gateway. Is this a glitch in the 98 software?

It's a VIRUS! I forget which one, but I think Kagou-Anti-Kro$oft is beter known as the KAK virus. Get a decent virus checker, or update the one you have and run it.

Has anyone heard of an anti-virus program called "iRis Anti-Virus"? I never bought Norton because this one is listed on my programs under utilities. Am I O.K.? It only ran once in a year and a half (possibly
because I left computer on all night) and the report, which I printed, looked like no virus was detected, but showed that the Icon was added to the Windows 95 Startup group. I have Windows 98 and always have had 98.....would that 95 program still be viable on my computer???....I will dig into www. iRis myself too but thought I might hear something helpful here in this virus thread. Thanks to all.....Dana71

You might also try this one for a free checkup to make sure you don't have anything else as well. I would also recommend getting a better antivirus software, and make sure you keep it updated.
