Shocked to see all my auctions cancelled when I got home today. Then I check my e-mail:

Dear mboyko ([email protected]),

We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended due to the
violation of our site policy below:

* Interfering with eBay's site and/or operations - The deliberate use of any
device, software, routine, or activity to interfere or attempt to interfere with
any of eBay's operations.

Due to the suspension of this account, please be advised you are prohibited from
using eBay in any way. This includes the registering of a new account.

Please note that this suspension does not relieve you of your agreed-upon
obligation to pay any fees you may owe to eBay.

Respectfully,

Safeharbor Department
eBay, Inc.

I haven't done anything to interfere with eBay's operations! I am certainly no "hacker!" Any ideas guys? Is there a phone number I can call to discuss this with eBay?

Why don't you email Safe Harbor and ask them why you were suspended?

Just a suggestion here? You recently started a thread called: "I'd like to share this relisting technique."

Maybe someone from ebay was reading it and didn't like it?

I thought of that. Seems like they would give a guy a warning. I'm wondering if it isn't something the auction manager service from AuctionWatch did? Listing all those queued lists, perhaps slowed down or hung up eBay's system? Not sure but I e-mailed a couple different eBay addresses and hope to find out exactly what is going on. Certainly seems abrupt to just shut you down and revoke your user status without even telling you what the hell is going on.

Maybe they mixed up your ID with another person's ID.

mboyko

I just went and scanned the thread: "I'd like to share this relisting technique."

I can answer your question for you. Snip: >>"I'm guessing that someone you've managed to antagonize on AW has already taken a screen shot of this thread and mailed it to EBay."<<

>>"The deliberate use of any........activity to interfere or attempt to interfere with
any of eBay's operations [Fees in this case]."<<

You made the mistake of:

1) Letting people know about your relisting techniques.
2) Assuming that Ebay would warn you first.

Let me suggest (when your suspension is over) that you play by the rules or, at least, don't let everyone know what you are doing that could get you into trouble.

LOL Good to know that someone like you gets what they deserve, if I worked for Ebay I would have got you long ago because you abuse the feedback forum like no one else I have ever seen. What goes around comes around, it bit you in the a** didn't it? Heather

mboyko, I've read in your threads how you justify overcharging for shipping. How you totally disregard the rights or consideration to your customers. And how you have found a way to cheat ebay out of relisting fees. Could this possibly be justice meted out by ebay? It's called the @*%#ing you get for the @*%#ing you gave. Sorry about your luck.

Well, my day has been made already this morning!!!! It's good to see justice served. Sorry mboyko about your hard luck on this one, but honestly, DITTO on what everyone else is saying!!! You've had a "holier than thou" attitude when it comes to your tactics and it's good for you to be knocked down a peg or two. But somehow, I don't think this will even show you the errors of your ways. You need to do some soul searching and realize that most people like to be treated with respect. 'nuf said.

Thanks!

Just one more reason "not" to use your Ebay ID here.

I have to say that in this case you got what was coming to you. I can remember a couple of threads where mboyko has posted that there is nothing they can do because it is in my terms of service or that technically there is nothing wrong with what I am doing. I think enough people complained to ebay about you that someone decided to keep a very close eye on your account and zap you the second you did something wrong. Ebay's rules are compicated enough that it is an almost certainty that any seller will eventually do something that can get them in trouble. The trick is to keep your self out of the eye of ebay so they don't catch whatever it is you my have unknowingly done wrong.

It doesn't matter if you use your eBay ID here actually. Once I posted a problem I was having with my account and that I couldn't get in touch with someone at eBay. An hour later someone called me from eBay customer service saying they heard I had a problem and helped me fix it. So, if they want to find out who you are, they will.

Mboyko - Many, many people tried to show you the error of your ways. You refused to listen. I tried to show you how to go about getting help and improving your auctions. You refused to listen. People warned you that what you were doing was wrong and you could lose your eBay privileges. You wouldn't listen. All you did was come here and brag about how right you were, how good you were doing with your auctions and how much money you were making. You were always right and we were always wrong. Now here you are crying for help and to add further insult, you want to suggest that Auctionwatch.com is the reason for your trouble. This is pathetic. You got what you had coming. It's too bad that all the people you screwed can't be reimbursed somehow.

Actually, those of us who don't make a practice of trying to screw Ebay and/or our customers, especially making it a point to brag on these boards about how we do it, really don't have to worry about using our Ebay ID's here. I'm not doing anything here or on Ebay that I need to hide from them, so I really don't care if anyone knows that I'm "always pickersangel".

About the id issue.
PayPal was able to get mine with lightning
fast speed. So don't believe that your
id is secure. Actually, I use my email at
ebay and just registered here with my initials. But don't think for a minute that
your id is secure.

Too Bad!

Personally, I would have NARU'ed you for your fifteen (15) negs. Your buyers were quite angry in your feedback, and maybe one of them is seeking justice?

mboyko, I find it amazing to say the least, that you would come here and be so up front and brag about how you are dishonest with eBay and buyers alike, then come running back whining when you get what is coming to you.

Your type of technique deserved to be ended. It gives all sellers a black eye. Don't say you weren't warned, because many people here tried to make you see the error of your ways, you foolishly went on your merry way. What goes around comes around...this is a good lesson to learn.

Aw c'mon --- you folks make it seem like getting kicked off eBay is a tragedy that we can all learn from. Maybe you oughta turn off your PCs for a couple of hours, go outside, and realize that there is more to life than eBay

Sheesh!

RB- I don't think anyone is saying it's a tragedy... as pickersangel said, we are all free to leave. If you find life better by not being with eBay, more power to you... I think we all feel that mboyko got what he deserved... obviously he's the one upset. I realize there is more to life than eBay... guess mboyko will realize that now too.

SCROLL DOWN YOUR LETTER RECEIVED FROM EBAY.
They are usually kind enough to show you the infractions...at the end of their emails.
