When I click on my "Gallery" link it comes up saying"There are no items..." WHAT???
But if I REFRESH, my personal gallery reappears!
Is it a goofy night on eBay or what?

Weird. It seems to be down. I haven't been able to get on for about an hour.

I can get in -- it's just that my Personal Gallery is there one moment and GONE the next!
They probably wore out one of their Commodore 64's!

I'll join in... I just listed an item. Upon returning to the Ebay Page, I was faced with a large yellow screen asking me to learn how to bid...To the bottom left: continue...Bottom right: exit...?????

tomwiii...I just had a horrible thought: what if Ebay has re-programmed the Personal Gallery so that it ONLY WORKS if you HOST YOUR PICS with them?????
I put a couple auctions yesterday...One shows in the Personal Gallery, the other, listed later, does NOT. So I went to the Gallery Fix link, and yes, my pic WAS entered...just is not showing. I'll have to see tomorrow night, if thos evening's listing shows in my Gallery...

Shosh: Hi! What's happening tonight is really wierd -- my Gallery is not there; but if I REFRESH the page, it reappears! That's no help for my bidders, right?! Ah well, another wacky night on eBay! But I hope your idea about their pic hosting is NOT the problem, or I'm in deep do-do!

Shosh,
Where is the gallery fix link?
I changed the gallery picture right from my web site after I submited, but it hasn't change. How do I get it to show the different picture. I used the same name for the pic but changed the picture. EBay must not be pulling out pics from the host site for the gallery.
I want to change it.

I don't know how often they 'scoop up' the new info...I am sure though, that it is not their TOP concern... ....Not with all the weird stuff going on...

Thanks Shosh for the link.
I went there to update my picture and the correct picture was there. Only thing is it does not show up that way in my "personal gallery" or on the search pages.
So I change the name of it. We'll see now if it shows up after they index them.
When I right click on the picture its not even my name I gave it, its a bunch of numbers.
I wonder if eBay is storing those gallery pics on their own server?

Yeah, I'll say it's weird tonight..glad its not just me!
The first clue was when I did a search on my closed auctions, and I got this immense list that has zillions of auctions, all ending at the same time, today at 22:48, and they all
have "ArchivedItemsHost is currently unavailable" for the title.
Then I tried to leave feedback. Well, technically I am STILL trying. It's been sitting there for a good ten minutes, I clicked on the leave feedback button, and if I click it again I get an error message that pops up and tells me I only need to click once. Grrr.
Good thing I don't have any bids to make tonight. I'd hate to think what would happen with those.
Methinks the functionality is not currently available!

Just goes to show there is no justice in life - Yahoo is hardly ever down but of course it does not have the volume of items that ebay has. If this were an ideal world Yahoo would put ebay out of it's technical misery, buy the whole show and get Yahoo's technical people to run it more competently. In fact I believe that ebay only maintains it's share price on the hope of a buyout like that. Why else would anyone invest in a company that suffers so many outages? It is also interesting that ebay's outages seem to happen mostly on weekends.

I just clicked on an auction I was interested in, and the ad was unreadable. All the sentences were duplicated 100s of times over and over on top of each other. It was really wierd looking. Never have I seen anything like that before. You couldn't see a bid box or anything.
